Statewide schedule — read this before you rely on it

Hawaii repealed its statewide real property tax law in 2016, but all four counties keep the same August 20 and February 20 installment dates. Most counties in this state follow these dates.

A penalty of up to 10% plus interest (12% a year on Oahu) is added to an installment not paid by its due date.

Annual bills are mailed by July 20 for the fiscal year that starts July 1, and second-half bills are mailed by January 20.
